Phuture Improvement Proposals (PIPs)

Information on structuring and submitting a PIP

What is a PIP?

A Phuture Improvement Proposal (PIP) is the format in which new ideas are proposed to the community for the benefit of the Phuture ecosystem. This format allows members of the community to first discuss the proposed idea within working groups, then measure interest through a soft vote on our Discourse and finally ratify the proposal via our Snapshot governance page.

Have an idea to improve Phuture?

Take these steps
👇
  1. 1.
Circulate your idea within your working group.
  2. 2.
Iterate on it based on feedback received.
  3. 3.
If you have support from the working group, start exploring submitting a formal proposal via a PIP.
  4. 4.
Structure your ideas using the PIP template. Submit it when ready.
  5. 5.
It will then be voted on Snapshot.
  6. 6.
If the community agrees and the proposal passes, your idea will be incorporated into the Phuture roadmap.
