FAQs | PDI
Here you'll find answers to common questions about the Phuture DeFi Index.

Yes.
PDI is an index composed of the top DeFi assets by market capitalization. Therefore, if the market changes, assets increase and decrease in market cap, or new assets join the top group, PDI will change the assets and update the weights to reflect the current market.
This update is done by the Phuture protocol, so you don’t have to worry about managing your assets to follow the market.
No.
PDI’s strategy is to give exposure to the top DeFi assets by market capitalization. The assets and weight might change as the market evolves (see here for more info on the index methodology) but the strategy will never change. PDI will always represent the top DeFi assets by market capitalization.
$PHTR is the Phuture token, used for staking and liquidity incentives. PHTR is not an index. Learn more about PHTR here.
$PDI is the symbol for our Phuture DeFi Index. This is an index, giving you exposure to DeFi by holding the top assets within decentralised finance, weighted by market cap. Learn more about PDI here.
